Handling reports
Reports are signals from your members. Triage them quickly and visibly.
How reports arrive
- From the bot — members run
/reportin your group. - From the web — members or visitors submit a report from your Trust Page.
What is collected
Report content as submitted, plus minimal metadata used for rate-limiting and de-duplication. Anonymous reports are kept anonymous to other members; the platform retains internal signals needed to prevent abuse. We do not store raw IP addresses — see our Privacy Policy.
Triage flow
- Open the Reports view in your dashboard.
- Read the report. Look at any linked context.
- Investigate inside Telegram if needed.
- Resolve the report with a status: resolved, not actionable, escalated.
- If applicable, take action in your group (clarify, pin a correction, remove the offender).
Important boundaries
TokenShield does not auto-ban or auto-delete content. Acting on a report is the owner's decision. The platform is not a moderator and does not adopt or endorse the content of any report. See Terms of Service.
