Reading your scores

Four scores on a 0–100 scale, each gated by confidence.

TokenShield publishes four community scores. Each one is computed from observed Telegram activity and is shown alongside a confidence level. There is no single master "trust score" — we believe a single number would be misleading. See Confidence levels.

Engagement Score

Measures: how active the community is — message volume, distinct active members, and discussion breadth over recent windows.

Does not measure: sentiment, token price, or message quality.

How to improve it: consistent communication from the team, real questions and answers, dropping low-effort bot spam.

Retention Score

Measures: how many members keep coming back across recent periods.

Does not measure: reasons members leave, off-platform activity, or sentiment.

How to improve it: give members reasons to return — updates, AMAs, ongoing programs.

Growth Score

Measures: new active members, joins, and the trajectory of community size.

Does not measure: follower counts on other platforms or paid acquisition.

How to improve it: real organic growth. Paid joins from low-quality sources rarely move this score because they do not stay active.

Admin / Team Presence Score

Measures: whether project team or verified admins are visibly present, active, and responsive in the community.

Does not measure: private admin identities, off-Telegram team work, or admin intent.

How to improve it: admins reply, react, and show up. Especially during volatility.

What scores are not

Scores are observed signals. They are not endorsements, not guarantees of legitimacy, and not investment recommendations. See Limits and our Terms.
